PROFESSOR JOY NWAKAEGO EKE-EJIOFOR
Professor Joy Nwakaego Eke-Ejiofor holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc), a Master of Science (MSc) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Food Science and Technology, in addition to a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Business Administration.
She is a prodigious researcher whose research contributions are helping to shape our capacity for optimization of food quality, safety and the economic value leveraging innovative and sustainable processes.
She has garnered several years of university administrative experience, having served this university in various roles including:
- Departmental Examinations Officer
- Departmental Postgraduate Coordinator
- Member, Senate Library Committee.
- Two-time Head of Department of Food Science and Technology (2017-2020 and 2021-2024)
- Member, University Fee Enforcement Committee
- Member, University Appraisal Guideline Review Committee
- And currently the Director, Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) Rivers State University.
