INTRODUCTION
The Student Affairs Unit (now Directorate of Student Affairs) has long existed in the Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt. The aim of this Unit has been to cater for the welfare and wellbeing of the students at all times; including student relations which is more volatile than staff matters.
